Press Release - Drunken Berries

Drunken Berries Prosecco mixers to launch in over 450 Tesco stores.

Award winning Prosecco mixer brand Drunken Berries, who became the first food and drink business to successfully complete a Tesco BackIt crowd funding campaign, has gone on to secure a listing in over 450 Tesco stores for its Raspberry Gin Prosecco Mixer.

The Tesco BackIt platform gives small food and drink businesses the chance to tell their story and show off their products through running a crowdfunding campaign to help them grow.

Husband and Wife team Andre and Gemma Glanville said, "We are thrilled to be the first BackIt campaign to list with Tesco. With Prosecco enjoying record sales in the U.K. we are hoping that people will enjoy creating a Raspberry Gin Bellini style cocktail by simply adding it to their glass of Prosecco".

"At only 5% alcohol volume it makes a great lower alcohol alternative to using a liqueur. Not only that, it can also be drizzled on cheesecakes and ice creams or even frozen in an ice cube tray to create alcoholic sorbet ice cubes, ready to be dropped in to your favourite glass of fizz"

The Drunken Berries Raspberry Gin Mixer will be in Tesco Stores from Monday 19th June 2017, other flavours in the range include a Blackberry Brandy and Strawberry Vodka mixer.
