This year Mother’s Day falls on Sunday 27th March, and hopefully, the sun will finally poke his head out and allow us to celebrate outside. Whether you are celebrating your mum, step-mum, mother figure or even being a mother yourself – here’s five ways to make the day even more special with a splash of Drunken Berries prosecco and cocktail mixer…

Add a splash to your fizz

With three flavours to choose from, adding a pop of colour and flavour to your glass of prosecco has never tasted better! Simply pour a little in the bottom of a champagne flute, top up with bubbles and give a gentle stir. Feel free to garnish with a few fresh berries to create the prettiest prosecco around.

Make a saucy breakfast sundae

Planning a breakfast in bed with a difference? Layer up granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt, drizzling Drunken Berries between each yoghurt layer to create a slightly naughty morning treat that looks as good as it tastes.

Drizzle over your cheesecake

If your family have a sweet tooth, why not serve up a cheesecake with a twist? By adding a drizzle of Drunken Berries over the top and some fresh raspberries know one will ever know if you haven’t made the pudding yourself! We find that the Blackberry & Brandy mixer goes really well with the creamy cheesecake.

Pimp your profiteroles!

Mum not a fan of chocolate? We’ve got just the alternative. Pile your profiteroles high and use Drunken Berries as the pouring sauce. If you find you have a fight on your hands with other chocoholics in the family, why not offer two different sauces to please everyone – chocolate and berries are a match made in heaven.

Change up her G&T

Also known as ‘Mother’s Ruin’, gin has been the favourite tipple of many a mum – especially through the tough toddler years! We’ve found that adding a splash of Drunken Berries to your G&T gives it the perfect fruity kick for those who either don’t like the taste of tonic water or fancy trying something a little different. Cheers!
